Challenge:
- Four mature sycamores and one mature beech tree were identified as leaning heavily over the A505 highway, posing a significant liability and safety risk due to the possibility of branches falling or the tree falling over in high winds.
- To conduct a tree condition survey of the entire estate where roads and footpaths were a concern.
Solution:
- Removal of the trees to a safe height of approximately 4m, retaining them as screening.
- Logs and chips were left in situ as per the client’s request.
- MEWP (Cherry Picker) was employed to ensure safety and control during the operation.

- High-speed traffic management was implemented to protect both the work crew and road users during the tree removal process.
